No TOP 5 de hoje teremos a temática de filmes que marcaram época, seja por uma trilha sonora ou com o tema central sendo a música. A música passou a ser integrada ao cinema ainda no perÃodo do cinema mudo, acompanhando e ambientando momentos deslumbrantes da sétima arte. Muita coisa mudou desde então e a música pode fluir de uma acompanhante para o tema central de um filme, sendo assim uma persona em uma narrativa.

ALMOST FAMOUS (2000) - 5°
Almost Famous é um tÃpico filme de sonho americano. Em qual realidade, a não ser a América, um jovem sonharia e realizaria o sonho de acompanhar uma banda emergente em uma turnê? Mas seria tão raso tratar o filme dessa maneira...
Ao longo de suas quase 3 horas, William Miller, jovem jornalista, entra em uma jornada profissional, mas que ensinaria a ele muito mais sobre as regras da estrada, sobre relacionamentos e como ele se enxergava perante o espelho.
Miller é um personagem cativante que está sempre disposto a aprender, mesmo que precise se render ao amor, à coragem e à liberdade...
ONCE (2007) - 4°
E chegamos a nossa quarta posição: ONCE. Once é um filme melodramático que se faz vivo em sua simplicidade. Nele acompanhamos artistas apaixonados que se unem em uma relação que, posteriormente, se tornaria um romance.
ONCE foi reconhecido em grandes premiações por sua música principal Falling Slowly. Ainda posso ouvir a trilha sonora, um momento mágico!
Possibly in Michigan (1983) - 3°
Possibly in Michigan é um curta-metragem de horror sobre duas garotas que são perseguidas por um canibal. E agora, podemos nos questionar qual o sentido de um filme assim entrar nessa lista. Esse curta-metragem é um musical, talvez não do básico, mas um musical que se reinventa no gênero e exalta o horror do filme através da música.
É um curta tão bem feito que, de fato, gera uma sensação angustiante; a gente compartilha da claustrofobia e do medo que o "ser perseguido" causa. Logo, somos apenas um observador ocioso, que teme pela vida das garotas, mas que teme ser o próximo.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) - 2°
E, obviamente, um clássico! The Rocky Horror Picture Show é, sem dúvida, um dos maiores e melhores musicais de todos os tempos.
A história acompanha Brad e Janet saindo de um casamento. O casal está reluzente! Sua animação contagia, nos prende àquela história e, consequentemente, o terror fica mais leve, sutil. E essa sutileza é o trunfo do filme, pois, através dela, adentramos na história sem ao menos perceber o quão bizarra aquela situação é.
No entanto, suas músicas são o ápice da diversão, com destaque para Sweet Transvestite, um marco contra o conservadorismo da época, abordando sexualidade e gênero sem tabu!
EMICIDA: AmarElo - 1°
Muitos leitores aqui da página podem não saber, mas somos do Brasil, e escolhi este filme para o primeiro lugar para destacar o quão forte musicalmente nosso paÃs é.
Emicida é um rapper brasileiro conhecido por suas rimas desde os primórdios do Rap no Brasil, sendo figura frequente em batalhas de rima, e, principalmente, no campeonato nacional de MCs do paÃs! Em seu documentário, Emicida, hoje maduro, identifica a importância de enaltecer sua caminhada, mas também dar visibilidade à periferia brasileira, local que pouco é visto a não ser por seus estereótipos envolvendo a criminalidade.
Emicida, apesar de rapper, também fez participações com músicos de vários gêneros, e muitos vão lembrar de sua participação até mesmo em videogames, como no FIFA 15; mas voltando ao filme, AmarElo é uma experiência completa para quem quer conhecer cinema, música e, inegavelmente, o Brasil!

In today's TOP 5, we'll have the theme of iconic films, whether for their soundtrack or for having music as their central theme. Music became integrated into cinema even during the silent film period, accompanying and setting the scene for dazzling moments in the seventh art. A lot has changed since then, and music can evolve from a companion to the central theme of a film, thus becoming a persona within a narrative.

ALMOST FAMOUS (2000) - 5th
Almost Famous is a typical American dream film. In what reality, other than America, would a young man dream of and actually get to live the dream of accompanying an emerging band on tour? But it would be so shallow to treat the film that way...
Over its nearly 3 hours, William Miller, a young journalist, embarks on a professional journey that ends up teaching him much more about the rules of the road, about relationships, and how he saw himself in the mirror.
Miller is a captivating character who is always willing to learn, even if it means surrendering to love, courage, and freedom...

And we've arrived at our fourth position: ONCE. Once is a melodramatic film that comes alive in its simplicity. In it, we follow passionate artists who come together in a relationship that would later turn into a romance.
ONCE was recognized at major awards for its main song, "Falling Slowly." I can still hear the soundtrack, a magical moment!
Possibly in Michigan (1983) - 3rd
Possibly in Michigan is a horror short film about two girls who are stalked by a cannibal. And now, we might question the point of such a film being on this list. This short film is a musical, perhaps not a basic one, but a musical that reinvents the genre and exalts the horror of the film through music.
It's such a well-made short that it genuinely generates a distressing feeling; we share the claustrophobia and the fear that being "stalked" causes. Thus, we are merely idle observers, fearing for the girls' lives, but also fearing being the next target.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) - 2nd
And, obviously, a classic! The Rocky Horror Picture Show is, without a doubt, one of the greatest and best musicals of all time.
The story follows Brad and Janet leaving a wedding. The couple is radiant! Their animation is contagious, draws us into that story, and, consequently, the horror becomes lighter, more subtle. And this subtlety is the film's trump card, because through it, we enter the story without even realizing how bizarre that situation is.
However, its songs are the pinnacle of fun, with a highlight on "Sweet Transvestite," a landmark against the conservatism of the time, addressing sexuality and gender without taboos!
EMICIDA: AmarElo - 1st
Many readers here on the page may not know, but we are from Brazil, and I chose this film for first place to highlight how musically strong our country is.
Emicida is a Brazilian rapper known for his rhymes since the early days of Rap in Brazil, being a frequent figure in rhyme battles, and especially in the national MC championship! In his documentary, Emicida, now mature, identifies the importance of celebrating his journey, but also of giving visibility to the Brazilian periphery, a place that is seldom seen except for its stereotypes involving criminality.
Emicida, although a rapper, has also collaborated with musicians from various genres, and many will remember his participation even in video games, like in FIFA 15; but getting back to the film, AmarElo is a complete experience for anyone who wants to get to know cinema, music, and, undeniably, Brazil.
